With a background in software and web engineering, he understands the technical and contractual nuances that drive value or waste in complex licensing and telecom agreements.

Ed has held roles at 8×8, Wells Fargo, GoAhead Solutions and Lucent Technologies, where he led IT and cloud solution delivery, managed large-scale migrations and negotiated vendor contracts that saved millions. His ability to align technology with business goals makes him a trusted advisor to clients across industries.

At Remend, Ed focuses on reducing costs, avoiding vendor lock-in, and guiding clients through Oracle licensing strategy and audit defense. He advocates fiercely for his clients to ensure they receive the service, flexibility and long-term value they deserve from every software agreement.

Eric GuyerEric Guyer, Managing Partner

Eric’s experience in enterprise software and services began as a pre-sales engineer at Oracle. After various technical and business development positions at Oracle, Eric moved into direct sales positions, including remote database administration, enterprise channel management and enterprise hardware and software.

Eric transitioned from sales to consulting by developing and delivering an advisory service at a multinational hardware reseller, where he also carried a margin attainment goal for Oracle software. Eric then honed his skills by closing enterprise software and services agreements as a third-party negotiator.

Prior to founding Remend, Eric served as the practice lead for Oracle advisory services at a multinational software reseller. Eric enjoys listening to Audible books while running trails in the San Gabriel Mountains.

Curtis BrowneCurtis Browne, Microsoft Practice Lead

Curtis has been dedicated to recommending, building, and producing right-sized licensing solutions, specializing in Microsoft, with customers for more than two decades.

With a background in software development and technology, Curtis employs problem-solving, analytical depth, and creative approaches in ways that cut through the marketing and selling noise often encountered in software evaluation, acquisition and contract negotiations. Leveraging in-depth experience on both the sell and buy side of the table, he approaches the customer-publisher relationship pragmatically, while always advocating and driving for the most value to the customer.

Jeremy SaylerJeremy Sayler, Vice President of Service Delivery

Jeremy brings over two decades of enterprise software experience to his role as Vice President of Service Delivery at Remend. He most recently led Oracle licensing services at Anglepoint and previously served in senior leadership roles at Rimini Street, where he helped clients manage Oracle and SAP license compliance and navigate complex audit risks. Earlier in his career, Jeremy held key positions at Oracle and J.D. Edwards, specializing in licensing, support renewals, and platform consulting. His deep expertise in software asset management and vendor negotiations makes him a trusted advisor to global enterprises seeking to reduce risk and cost.

George GumataotaoGeorge Gumataotao, Jr., Head of Alliances and Channel

George Gumataotao, Jr. serves as Remend’s Head of Alliances and Channel, bringing over 25 years of experience in enterprise technology, channel strategy, and partner development. Prior to joining Remend, George held senior roles at Intelisys, Sandler Partners, and Fusion Connect, where he built and led high-performing channel programs focused on cloud, communications, and infrastructure solutions. Known for transforming go-to-market strategy through strong partner ecosystems, George has helped organizations streamline cloud migrations, reduce compliance risks, and improve financial outcomes. At Remend, he leads alliance growth and channel expansion to amplify client value and extend Remend’s market reach.

Dan Barth, Strategic Advisor

Dan Barth is a Strategic Advisor with Remend, bringing over 30 years of executive leadership across enterprise IT, software licensing, and digital transformation. Most recently, Dan served as Regional Sales Director and Executive Advisor at Rimini Street, where he helped clients rethink their Oracle strategies and reduce operational costs. His prior roles include CIO of The Oklahoman Media Company, where he led SAP implementation and digital innovation initiatives, and senior executive positions at Oracle, Honeywell Aerospace, and ClubCorp. Dan’s career has centered on helping organizations compete in new markets, optimize technology investments, and operate mission-critical systems at a fraction of the industry cost.
